Verify AgenC Core

Get AgenC Core only from the places below, and check the installer before you run it. Anything else that claims to be AgenC is not us.

The install command on get.agenc.ag downloads straight from the GitHub releases above.

Check the installer

Download the installer and the checksum list from the same release, then compare them:

grep ' install.sh$' SHA256SUMS | shasum -a 256 -c

It should print install.sh: OK. Then run it with sh install.sh. On Linux without shasum, use sha256sum -c instead.

Each runtime archive in a release also comes with a Sigstore signature file (.sigstore.json) next to it.

Keep your keys to yourself

Installing AgenC Core never needs a private key, a seed phrase or a password. If a page or a message asks for one to install it, it is not from us.
